Senior lecturer
Dr. Yaron Ariel (Ph.D. University of Haifa) is a senior lecturer at the Department of Communication - Emek Yezreel Academic College. His research and teaching interests focus on the use of new media (online/mobile/social), assessment of information in the digital environment (privacy/information overload and interruptions) and the func tionality of online social networks (among journalists/during war/along digital divides). He specializes in quantitative research methods in communication and teaches courses in these fields. Yaron lives in Rosh Pina (Upper Galilee), married to Yael and has two sons - Uri and Ido.
