About

Lecturer

I acquired my basic academic education at the Emek-Yizre'el Academic College in the years 1995-1998. Three years later, I studied for my Master's Degree in communication at the Hebrew University. In 1999 I joined the teaching staff at the Yizre'el Valley Academic College, and since 2003 I have been teaching at the Open University, as well.

Areas of interest

My years in the academia are thematically diverse, and reflect my attraction to diverse fields of knowledge. I teach various courses, some practical and others theoretical, most of them are related to communication and the new media. In my list of publications there are articles dealing with digital culture, on its sociological aspects. However, in recent years I have published articles dealing with popular music, especially Rock music - my greatest passion. In between, I am a blogger on the "Dogigim" website, which deals with motorcycling culture.

In my private life I am the father of Jonathan, a devout listener to David Bowie and a motorcyclist.
