Teaching and research are my fields of interests. I have been teaching topics of molecular biology, genetics, physiology, statistics, scientific writing and research methods.
During PhD study in the Faculty of Medicine at the Technion, my research aim is to develop new tools for genetic counseling. My work at the Institute of Genetics, emphasized the actual need to communicate genetic counseling issues to the counselee. In this context, the topics that I focus on are population screening tests for genetic diseases, infertility, recurring abortion, kinship, and advanced mother age.
I am a member in a science communication research group of Prof. Ayelet Baram Tsabari from the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion. The group is engaged in the study of the relevance of science to everyday life of the general public, as well as the communication skills of scientists and their perception of the public involvement in science.
I believe that Science of its various fields should be accessible for everyone.
