Dr. Eilat Chen Levy is a Lecturer at the Communication Department, Academic College of Jezreel Valle 

 

  Dr. Eilat Chen Levy

Postdoctoral Fellowship, Ben Gurion University (2018-2021), earned a Ph.D from the Faculty of Management, the Information and nowledge Management Department at the University of Haifa under the supervision of Prof. Sheizaf Rafaeli the Director of the 

Center for Internet Research. Her research examines The Effect of Online Interruption on the Quality of Cognitive Performance and the Pace of Work.

Dr. Levy is a member of The Center for Internet Research, University of Haifa and LINKS – The Israeli Center of Research Excellence. Her main interests are in Interruptions via new media, Information Overload, mobile phone, computer mediated communication, Wiki systems for learning and simulation game. She was a partner in the establishment of the "Tzafona" project, a computer-assisted learning system based on Wiki technology. The project purpose was to integrate teachers and students in online classes. The project conducted in cooperation the Ministry of Education and co-directed by the Internet Research Center headed by Prof. Sheizaf Rafaeli. and led a continuing education program at middle school for teachers in the fields of Geography and 'field-nation-society' (Shelach) using new media and digital learning.
