Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Community Gerontology
"In old age, they will yet be fruitful, full of sap and vitality" (Psalms 92)
For me, research and education in the field of aging represent a true calling. Aging is a natural process that we all experience, yet it is often surrounded by misconceptions and stereotypes. I believe there is immense value in understanding
these processes deeplynot only for older adults but also for younger generations.
My passion for this field stems from a desire to break down stereotypes, to highlight the vast contributions and potential that older adults possess, and to work toward an Israeli society in which every age is honored and respected. I see advancing this cause
in Israel as a central goal: we must create community spaces that connect people of all ages, enabling older adults to continue contributing, growing, and thriving, and to face the challenges of aging with dignity and empowerment.
