  Dr. Tal Kochli Hailivski is a social worker and gerontologist, a lecturer in the Department of Gerontology and in the Department of Nursing at Max Stern Yezreel Valley Academic College. Additionally, Dr. Kochli Hailivski is a research fellow and coordinator of the Center for Research and Study of Aging at the University of Haifa, as well as the Age Friendly University program.
Dr. Kochli Hailivski is a researcher in both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Her research areas include stress in old age, physical and mental health,  well-being and quality of life in old age, ageism, loneliness in old age, family relationships, sense of belonging and community involvement. Additionally, she evaluates intervention programs.
