Irith freedman has a PhD Education, from the University of Haifa.
Her research focuses on how different cultural contexts are related to peoples perceptions, attitudes, and behaviours, from early childhood through adulthood. She is particularly interested in the diverse ways in which social agency is shaped and developed within cultural contexts.
She conducted field work for her M.A. in anthropology in Hokkaido University, as a MEXT research student.
Her Ph.D. focused on yound children food-related knowledge and behavioral attitudes.
