Lecturer Dr. Naim Sigal

Download File opens a new tab   Dr. Sigal Naim is a gerontologist, senior lecturer at the Faculty of Health and Head of the Research Authority at Sha'arei Mishpat Academic Center, and an external lecturer in the Department of Human Services at Emek Yezreel Academic College (Max Stern). Additionally, Dr. Naim is a research fellow at the Center for Research and Study of Aging and academic coordinator of the Age-Friendly University unit (AFU-H) at the University of Haifa.
She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the School of Communication at Ariel University, and her research areas include new media and online social networks in aging, digital literacy in aging, leisure and quality of life in aging, inequality in aging, elder abuse and neglect (including self-neglect), quality of life in aging, aging policy, age-friendly environments, and qualitative research methods.
She is involved in several research projects on long-term care law, use of technologies by aged people and in long-term care institutions, age-friendly environments, and more.
